入院経験のある子どもの母親（ハイリスク群）と正期産児の母親（健常児群）における育児ストレス、育児サポート状況等を比較し、今後のハイリスク児の家族支援の方法について検討することである。ハイリスク群（NIUC 退院後１年以上経過している３歳以下の子どもの母親、n＝15）とコントロール群（同地域の１歳６か月健診を利用した正期産児の母親、n＝273）の比較をした。子どもの外来受診時、研究趣旨や方法を説明し、自記式質問紙を配布、郵送法にて回収した。また、量的データの結果の関係性を理解するため、母親４名のみに面接調査を実施した。結果として、ハイリスク群はコントロール群と比べ、育児ストレス（日本版PSI 得点）は「総得点」、「子ども側」、「親側」の全て有意に高いものであった（p<0.01, p<0.05）。下位項目では特に「C6: 子どもに問題を感じる（p<0.001）」「C2:
