Traditional workbooks or commercially available software require examinees to answer questions individually and self-mark their own progress and does not usually allow for a review of their overall achievements. In this study, we applied techniques developed for the smartphone application and made a trial version of the software that allows examinees to assess their learning achievements through comparison in a social game (smartphone game) with others in a format familiar to the younger generation.
